Positive Life Energy &
Living a Full Life
(C-SMLE)
Overview
This is a work-in-progress list of activities that I pursue to live a full live and thrive on positive life energy. However, I realize that life requires activities beyond the activities listed here. So you can't always be doing only one of these five activities, and on many days you might not be able to do any of these five activities. But the point here is to try to pursue these five activities whenever reasonable.
Activity 1
Create
Create things. Creativity is fundamental to positive life energy. This can be applied to everything from creating simple presentations, spreadsheets, and documents, to creating children, startups, and novels.
The ultimate creations are those that not only give you and others joy, but also are enduring and outlive you.
Activity 2
Sense
Sense the world. Sensing is fundamental to positive life energy. This can be applied to everything from sensing a sunset, cold plunge, strawberry, etc.
Sensing things that inspire awe are especially fulfilling.
Most sensing is intended to be fun and joyful. However, research shows that sensing which induces good stress is also healthy, for example a cold plunge or intense workout.
Activity 3
Move
Life is movement and movement is life. Movement can be anything from walking, jogging, or sprinting, to working out, yoga, tennis, or also sex. Varied movement throughout the day and week is ideal.
Activity 4
Learn
Try to learn at least one thing every day.
Learning about anything that helps you create, sense, or move has multiplicative benefits.
In addition to gaining knowledge, learning also encompasses discovering and exploring.
Activity 5
Engage
Engage with people who exude positive life energy and thereby can amplify your positive life energy.
Engaging can be as simple as socializing, but can create a deeper connection by collaborating on a worthy project. For example, engaging with positive people while co- creating, sensing, moving, or learning with them has multiplicative benefits.
Conversely, diplomatically avoid people who have negative life energy.
Activity 5b:
Important subsets of engaging are helping and mentoring people who amplify or have the potential to amplify positive life energy. Much of a life well-lived is about connecting with, and helping people.
